Dr. Blecher, M.D., graduated cum laude from Brandeis University and received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency at Wills Eye Hospital where, during his third year, he was also Co-Chief Resident. He is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing since 1986 and has been performing refractive surgery for over a decade.

With the advent of LASIK, refractive surgery has taken a giant step forward and Dr. Blecher was one of the first to perform LASIK following FDA approval. Dr. Blecher has taught the procedure to many surgeons, and is today the Medical Director of Kremer Eye Center in Cherry Hill. He is also one of the most experienced surgeons performing CustomLASIK in the region. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University and Attending Surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital, and Methodist Hospital.

Throughout his career, he has studied with some of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the country and has performed thousands of LASIK surgeries in the past few years. Dr. Blecher is one of a select group of doctors certified to train other ophthalmic surgeons.
